Best Application Management Software in 2026

Programs that collect applications may need to manage intake, review and follow-up in one workflow. Compare applicant portals and supported programs with reviewer collaboration, scoring and rubrics, and workflow automation. Payment collection and reporting and analytics add further criteria to consider, while free-plan availability and the “Paid from” price provide cost context. The ranked entries begin with OpenWater, Flexi-Grant and Submittable, followed by Reviewr and CommunityForce. Think about which parts of your application process need coordination, and which listed review, payment or reporting capabilities are most relevant.
