What Xerox Workplace Suite is
Xerox Workplace Suite is an on-premises, server-based system for managing print jobs, access, costs, content security, and usage reporting. Users can send jobs from Windows, Chromebooks, Mac, Linux, iOS, and Android devices; jobs can wait in a pull-print queue for release. Depending on setup, authentication can use cards, NFC, the Xerox Print Portal app, QR codes, PINs, or credentials. The suite supports single sign-on to SSO-enabled printer services, including cloud connector apps. Administrators can apply print rules, track organization-wide printing, and use fleet reporting and accounting; the server integrates with Network Accounting. A licensed multifunction printer can scan copied, printed, or scanned documents for administrator-defined terms and alert an administrator when it finds a match. Xerox says the software works with nearly all Xerox and other-brand printers and multifunction devices using Global Print Driver technology, with enhanced capability on VersaLink, AltaLink, and ConnectKey devices. Licensing is modular, allowing feature selection regardless of device count. Pricing is available on request, and installation is on a server for private on-site deployment.
