What SmartProcedures is

SmartProcedures is a digital procedure management and connected worker platform for complex, high-risk operations. Its structured authoring uses XML content stored in SQL and centrally managed templates, keeping procedure material separate from its presentation. The Step Analyzer Module checks for issues such as unclear wording, overly long steps, and difficult readability. Review and approval workflows, plus version control at both step and procedure level, support managed updates. Operators can use mobile-adapted FlexViews to follow multimedia guidance, sign off digitally, and enter data interactively. An optional offline feature stores procedures and execution data on a device for later synchronization. SmartProcedures can also generate interactive computer-based training from current procedure content and track learner progress. ATR describes connections to LMS, ERP, and DMS systems, naming Maximo, SAP, and Meridium as examples. The primarily web-based application is accessed in a browser, though some authors need a local client for the Editor. Purchases include implementation services; ATR also offers training and deployment support. Pricing is on request.
