Researchers can invite their own participants or recruit from the User Interviews pool. Dedicated iOS and Android apps capture screen, camera, voice and on-screen gestures during mobile research. Discover lets researchers query project materials in natural language and connects responses to source quotes and video moments. The Dovetail integration transcodes and uploads recorded videos, but does not send transcripts, notes or insights. Lookback’s MCP server supports AI tools managing projects, rounds, recordings and participants; MCP must be enabled, and the user needs a Collaborator role or above. A trial provides five sessions and 60 days of access without a credit card, but excludes exports.
