Jax is paid workforce-management software for UK shift-based businesses, including security, construction, gyms, and leisure. In gyms, it handles staff rotas, attendance, shift cover, and recruitment rather than memberships or class bookings. Managers can build schedules with drag-and-drop tools, recurring patterns, multi-site coordination, shift swaps, and push notifications. Staff clock in and out through Android or iOS apps with GPS verification, while managers review attendance across locations and timesheets. Approved timesheets can be exported in standard payroll-compatible formats. Recruitment features support role and shift postings, applicant tracking, document collection, qualification checks, and digital onboarding. Jax can broadcast open shifts to connected suppliers and available temporary workers, then add confirmed workers to rota and attendance records. Existing agency relationships can also be connected. Core costs £50 a month for up to 49 staff, while Scale costs £100 a month for up to 1000 staff.
