What Visitor is

Visitor is a web service that identifies companies behind website visits and shows what those companies viewed and how often they returned. Its dashboard can display company names, locations, organization details, and visit history, with filters for country, date, or activity. Page insights show URL history, visit counts, and a chronological timeline for each company; CSV export is included with the Starter plan. Visitor is presented for B2B sales prospecting, marketing attribution, account-based targeting, content performance, partner discovery, and competitive intelligence. Setup uses an asynchronous JavaScript snippet described as under 1 KB, without dependencies, and taking less than five minutes. Visitor says it filters bot traffic, residential IPs, and mobile carrier IPs; it typically identifies 10–30% of B2B traffic. It identifies companies rather than people and says it does not collect personal data or set cookies. Its privacy description says IPs are hashed with a daily rotating salt before database writes, and the service supports a notrack opt-out parameter. The free plan is billed at €0 forever, covering 25 identified companies over the lifetime of one website. Starter costs €25 per month and includes 200 identified companies per month, unlimited websites, a weekly email digest, and CSV export. When a plan limit is reached, pageview data continues logging, but new identifications pause until reset.
