What FleetMS is

FleetMS is free, open-source fleet maintenance and management software for vehicles owned or maintained by a company or individual. Its vehicle module supports creating, viewing, updating and deleting records, with photos and documents stored alongside them. Users can configure renewal reminders for insurance, emissions tests and other activities, including intervals and notifications. Inspection tools manage forms similar to DVIR checklists and their submissions. Maintenance features include service groups, automated service reminders and work orders for planning and recording repairs. A parts module manages vehicle parts and inventory, while fuel logs record fuel activity and costs. FleetMS is a self-hosted web application that the README describes running locally before opening a browser at localhost:4000. Installation requires PostgreSQL and database credentials.
