Xiaomi’s highly anticipated foldable smartphone, the Mix Fold 3, is set to make its debut this August. Following earlier reveals of its packaging and Mi section images, live shots of the device’s inner display and rear panel have now surfaced.
Xiaomi Mix Fold 3 – Inner Display and Rear Panel
Starting with the inner display, the leaked image suggests that the upcoming foldable phone will feature a full-screen display without a punch hole or notch, indicating a seamless viewing experience. Reports suggest that the device will incorporate an under-display camera, but a previously shared image of the cover display shows a centrally aligned punch-hole selfie camera.
Moving to the rear panel, the live shot reveals a luxurious leather back and a rectangular-shaped camera module. The module houses four cameras, along with a pill-shaped unit housing an LED flashlight. Additionally, the Leica branding can be seen inside the camera module.
It’s worth noting that the live image of the rear panel was captured using a Xiaomi 13 Pro smartphone.

Camera and Specifications
Regarding the camera setup, certain reports indicate that the Xiaomi Mix Fold 3 may feature the same cameras as the Xiaomi 13 Ultra smartphone. This includes a powerful 1-inch Sony IMX989 50 MP OIS main camera, a 50 MP Sony IMX581 ultrawide angle camera, a 50 MP OIS telephoto camera with 3.2x optical zoom, and a 50 MP periscope telephoto OIS camera with 5x optical zoom. However, some sources suggest the device might sport a 50 MP Sony IMX800 main camera instead.
In terms of specifications, the foldable device is expected to be powered by an overclocked Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, with a primary clock speed of 3.36GHz. It is likely to come with a generous 16 GB LPDDR5x RAM and offer two UFS 4.0 internal storage options: 512 GB and 1 TB. The phone is rumored to boast a 4800mAh battery with support for 67W wired fast charging and 50W wireless fast charging.
