In a recent unveiling, Xiaomi provided a sneak peek at the rear design of their latest smartphone, the Xiaomi Civi 3, which specifically caters to female users in China. Building on the excitement, Xiaomi has now released a series of teasers divulging additional details about the Civi 3.
Among the confirmed features are an OLED panel with elegantly curved edges and a pill-shaped cutout. Although the exact display size remains unconfirmed, speculation suggests it might inherit the 6.55-inch OLED FHD+ 120Hz panel found on its predecessor, the Xiaomi Civi 2.
Xiaomi has officially announced that the Civi 3 will boast a 32 MP primary selfie camera with a wide 78-degree field of view (FOV). Additionally, it will be accompanied by another 32 MP super-wide angle camera offering an expansive 100-degree FOV. To enhance low-light photography, the top edge of the device will house soft dual-LED flash units, capable of producing five different light effects ranging from warm to cold.
Furthermore, Xiaomi revealed that the Civi 3 will highlight a 50 MP Sony IMX800 camera with optical image stabilization (OIS) as the centerpiece of its rear camera setup. However, details regarding the other rear cameras are yet to be disclosed.
Under the hood, the Xiaomi Civi 3 will be powered by the Dimensity 8200-Ultra chipset. Additional reports suggest that the device will feature 12 GB of LPDDR5 RAM, 512 GB of UFS 3.1 storage, and a 4,500mAh battery with 67W fast charging support.
The Civi 3’s dual-tone design is a major attraction, and it will be available in four captivating colors: Rose Purple, Mint Green, Coconut Grey, and Adventure Gold. In the Chinese market, the Civi 3 will compete with other upcoming Dimensity 8200-powered smartphones like the OPPO Reno 10 Pro and the Vivo S17 Pro.
