Xiaomi CIVI 3

On May 30, Xiaomi is set to unveil the Xiaomi Civi 3, a smartphone focused on delivering exceptional selfie capabilities, in China. The company has officially confirmed that the device will be powered by the Dimensity 8200-Ultra chipset. Recently, tipster Digital Chat Station shared key specifications of the Civi 3 in a Weibo post.

According to the tipster, the Xiaomi Civi 3, equipped with the Dimensity 8200-Ultra, will sport dual front-facing cameras. These include a 32-megapixel primary selfie camera and a 32-megapixel ultra-wide lens. It is likely that the device will feature the same 6.55-inch OLED panel with a pill-shaped cutout and curved edges found in the Xiaomi Civi 2 released last year. The screen is expected to support an FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.

Furthermore, rumor also has it that the Civi 3 will boast a 50 MP Sony IMX800 primary camera with optical image stabilization (OIS), promising superior photography with improved stability and clarity. There is currently no information available regarding the auxiliary cameras on the device.

To ensure prolonged usage, the Civi 3 is speculated to house a 4,500mAh battery, complemented by 67W fast charging technology for quick recharging. Recently, the handset appeared in the TENAA certification listing, which revealed that it will offer 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage.

Based on the leaked camera details, it is evident that the Xiaomi Civi 3 is designed to excel in selfie photography. It is expected to compete with other upcoming smartphones like the Reno 10 and Reno 10 Pro, which will feature a 32 MP front camera with autofocus. Additionally, it will rival the Vivo S17 and S17 Pro, anticipated to feature a 50 MP front camera with autofocus.
