Redmi has been teasing the launch of their laptop in the country for a while now. The launch will take place next week on 3rd and will mark the entry of the brand in the laptop segment.
Ahead of the launch, key specifications of the laptop have surfaced. This comes via leaked report from 91Mobiles. As per the report, the RedmiBook will be called the RedmiBook 15 in India. A similar model was launched by Redmi in the Indonesian market just last week. The company has confirmed some of the main specs, we get the rest of the specs from the leak.
RedmiBook 15 will launched with the latest 11th generation Intel i3 and i5 processors and will pack a 15.6-inch Full HD LCD display. It will come with 256GB or 512GB of SATA SSD inside. The laptop will get 8GB DDR4 RAM and a 46WHr battery. In terms of connectivity, we can expect, dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0, USB Type A 3.2 spec, HDMI port, 3.5mm jack and a full-sized SD card reader.
This time we will also get a built-in webcam which was missing on the Mi NoteBook 14. As for the speaker, there are two 2W units with DTS support and a 65W charger will be supplied inside the box.
The RedmiBook 15 will come in Charcoal Grey colour, as confirmed by the company. The laptop series is said to be priced under INR 50,000. We should know more information when the laptop launches officially in the coming days.
