Redmi has announced that it will be launching the Redmi Note 12 Turbo on March 28. The teasers released by the company suggest that the new model will feature the largest heat sink and memory configuration of any Note series model to date. This upcoming product launch conference is highly anticipated among fans of the Redmi brand, and the company is expected to reveal more details about the device at the event.

According to a recent teaser released by Redmi, the upcoming Redmi Note 12 Turbo will feature an e-sports grade vapor chamber for thermal management. This cooling technique involves a sealed chamber containing a small amount of liquid that quickly evaporates and condenses to transfer heat from a heat source to a heat sink. This process is efficient and quiet and does not require any moving parts, making it an ideal choice for high-performance computing applications. The vapor chamber on the Redmi Note 12 Turbo will have a surface area of 3,725 square millimeters.

To further improve its cooling performance, the Redmi Note 12 Turbo features diversion grooves, which help to dissipate heat more effectively. According to the teasers released by the company, the device can achieve up to 35 percent better heat dissipation compared to the previous model. This smartphone will be the first in the series to be powered by the 2nd-generation Snapdragon 7+ processor. This processor uses the same architecture as the high-end Snapdragon 8+, and is optimized for gaming performance.

Redmi has released a second teaser that reveals the launch of a 16 GB RAM version with 1 TB of storage for the Note 12 Turbo, making it the first model in the Redmi Note series to offer such a high configuration. This surpasses the current highest configuration of 12 GB + 512 GB found on most flagship models in the series.

Just to recap, the Redmi Note 12 Turbo boasts a 6.67-inch display with 1080 x 2400p resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. It comes powered by the Adreno 725 GPU. It is equipped with a 5,500mAh battery and supports 5G connectivity. The device features an AMOLED display panel with a 20:9 aspect ratio. On the software side, it runs Android 13 with MIUI 14. It will come with up to 256GB of storage.

The Redmi Note 12 Turbo has a rear triple camera configuration with a 50 MP primary wide camera, along with LED flash, HDR, and Panorama views. The device supports various connectivity options including Bluetooth 5.2, Wi-Fi, and NFC in certain markets. It also supports 67W wired charging through USB-C and will be offered in black and other color options.
