Alongside the Redmi Note 12 4G launch, Redmi also announced an all-new 8GB RAM and 256GB storage option in the market. After adding this new model to the list, the tally for the Redmi Note 12 5G model in the country moves to three. Apart from bumping the storage, the company has not added any new features or color options to the handset.
Redmi Note 12 5G specifications
The Redmi Note 12 5G comes with a 6.67-inch AMOLED panel with a Full HD+ resolution, 1200nots of peak brightness, 120Hz refresh rate, and a 240Hz touch sampling rate. The handset is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 SoC and is paired with up to 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB of UFS2.2 storage.
In terms of optics, the Redmi Note 12 5G brings a triple camera setup on the rear with a 48MP main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide angle camera, and a 2MP macro camera. There is a 13MP front-facing camera for selfies and video calls. Other features on the handset include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for added security, an IR blaster, a 3.5mm audio jack, Dolby Atmos, dual-band WiFi, stereo speakers, Android 12 with MIUI 13 on top and a large 5,000mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging.
Redmi Note 12 5G price
The Redmi Note 12 5G starts at INR 17,999 for the 4/128GB model but this spec’d out 8/256GB variant is priced at INR 21,999. To mark the launch, Redmi is providing an INR 1,000 discount bringing the total down to INR 20,999. The handset is officially on sale starting today on leading e-commerce platforms including Amazon, and Mi Store online/offline.
