Redmi today via their social media channels announced the launch date for their next budget smartphone, the Redmi Note 11S. The phone will be launched in the country on February 9th.
The phone is expected to be a mix between the Global Redmi Note 11 and Note 11 Pro 4G. It is expected to come with a 6.43″ Full HD+ AMOLED panel with a 90Hz refresh rate. It could be powered by the MediaTek Helio G96 4G SoC and get up to 8GB RAM and 128GB storage.
In terms of optics, the phone will get a quad rear camera setup with a 108MP main sensor, along with an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens and two 2MP sensors. The setup is somewhat similar to the Note 10 Pro series. The phone is likely to come in a lilac shade and have a plastic body with flat edges, something we saw on the Xiaomi 11i series. As for the battery, past Note lineup phones have had 5,000mAh batteries with support for 67W fast charging which is will be the first in the Redmi lineup.
As for the pricing, expect the Note 11S to be priced somewhere around INR 16,999 for the base variant.
