Xiaomi’s sister brand Redmi is all set to announce their newest budget smartphone, the Redmi Note 11S soon in the Indian market. The brand through its social media channels posted an image that hints at the Redmi Note 11S.
The image has the back of the smartphone visible which is expected to come with a quad-rear camera setup with a 108MP main sensor, along with an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens and two 2MP sensors. The setup is somewhat similar to the Note 10 Pro series. The phone is likely to come in a lilac shade and have a plastic body with flat edges, something we saw on the Xiaomi 11i series. It is not clear if the phone will retain the AMOLED panel like on the outgoing model.
The phone was spotted on FCC sometime back with the model numbers 2201117TY and 2201117SY and the records show it having 6/64GB, 6/128GB, and 8/128GB RAM/storage variants. Looking at the memory options, it is safe to say that this model will likely be powered by a MediaTek chip like on Redmi Note 10S and might just have a 90Hz refresh rate panel. As for the battery, past Note lineup phones have had 5,000mAh batteries with support for fast charging and this phone might as well have the same things.
We should know more about the phone, including the India launch date in the coming days.
