POCO F4 GT Global Launch Scheduled For April 26

POCO F4 GT launch invite

POCO Global is all set to announce its latest smartphone, the POCO F4 GT in the Global markets on April 26th. Last year, the company released the F3 GT, which was effectively a rebadged Redmi K40 Gaming Edition that’s only available in China. Thus, the F4 GT might be a rebadged Redmi K50 Gaming Edition that’s also only available in China.

The brand is also rumored to announce its first AIoT (Artificial Intelligence of Things) products. Although there is no news on what this device will be, we believe it will be their first set of truly wireless buds or their long-rumored smartwatch.

The POCO F4 GT could likely be a rebranded Redmi K50 Gaming Edition smartphone. It is expected to come with a 6.67-inch Full HD+ AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. It might be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256GB of UFS3.1 storage.

On the optics front, the phone will have a triple camera setup on the rear, with a main 64MP sensor, along with an 8MP ultra-wide-angle sensor and a 2MP macro camera. On the front, we might get to see a 20MP selfie shooter. Other features on the phone include Android 12 with MIUI 13 out of the box, magnetic trigger buttons, a 4,700mAh battery with support for 120W fast charging, an all-metal build, and Gorilla Glass Victus protection, and more.
