Poco C51 launched in India, features Helio G36 SoC, 6.52-inch display, and 5000 mAh battery

POCO has launched its latest budget smartphone, the C51, in the Indian market where it is priced a quite competitive Rs. 8,499. Despite its affordable price tag, the device comes with some impressive specs. That includes a tall 6.52-inch LCD panel with HD+ resolution and a 120 Hz touch sampling rate. It is powered by a MediaTek Helio G36 SoC, which is a slightly overclocked version of the Helio G35 chipset and is paired with 4 GB of RAM. The same can be further expanded by up to another 3 GB via virtual RAM.

The device is powered by a sizable 5,000mAh battery, but it only supports standard 10W charging. On the front, there is a 5 MP selfie camera situated on a water drop notch, while the rear houses an 8 MP primary sensor and a secondary depth sensor in a small module positioned at the top left corner. Other noteworthy features include a 3.5mm headphone jack, FM Radio, and a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. The device runs on Android 13 GO Edition and is guaranteed to receive at least two years of security updates.

The POCO C51 comes in two color variants: Power Black and Royal Blue. It is only available in a single storage option, which is 4 GB + 64 GB. The smartphone will be up for sale exclusively on Flipkart from April 10, 2023, at noon, and as already stated, will be priced at just Rs. 8,499.
