What Punchly is

Punchly is a time-recording service for businesses that need to track staff shifts and prepare worked-hours reports. Staff can clock in or out with a four-digit PIN or QR badge using a browser-based device. Each workplace has a private kiosk link that can be opened on a tablet or phone, with no app required. A live dashboard shows who is working, their location and how long they have been on shift. Reports provide timezone-correct totals by employee and location for a day, week, month or custom period. Businesses can manage multiple workplaces, each with its own kiosk and on-shift team. Punches from an unexpected network are flagged to help identify off-site or buddy clock-ins. Optional clock-in photos are viewable only by the owning company. Punchly is free during early access, though paid plans and billing terms may be introduced with notice. The service is described as an early-access project, so features may change and interruptions may occur; its terms advise keeping independent backups of required time or payroll records.
