What Cirrus Migrate Cloud is

Cirrus Migrate Cloud is a web-based service for moving block-level storage data between on-premises systems and cloud environments. It supports continuous migration, allowing data to move while workloads remain in use, and provides cutover orchestration and migration reporting. Cirrus Data’s Transparent Data Intercept and cMotion technologies are designed for minimal-downtime migrations. Automation features include more than 30 block-storage plugins, predefined playbooks, migration operations, and actionable insights. Cirrus Data says it supports any block-storage vendor or public cloud, and migrations from hypervisors, bare metal, or hosted environments. Windows and Linux workloads are supported, as are VMware, Microsoft Hyper-V, and Red Hat OpenShift Virt. The service is available through the AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Oracle Cloud marketplaces. Data is encrypted in flight using AES 256-bit encryption, and the Customer Center offers basic and premium support 24x7x365. The general service is paid, with pricing on request. A separate Amazon FSx for NetApp ONTAP trial includes 1 TB free for 30 days; its license can be extended monthly or replaced with a 60-day package.
