CapturyLive is a turnkey hardware and software system that converts camera video into real-time 3D motion data for multiple actors. It tracks full-body movement, with finger tracking available as an add-on and face tracking offered as an add-on or standalone solution. Camera installations can use four to 12 or more cameras, depending on performer numbers and space. Captury says systems ship with Ubuntu pre-installed and recommends Gigabit Ethernet cameras, cables, and a network switch for synchronized video. Motion and video can be recorded, then exported as FBX, BVH, C3D, or CSV. Charting tools cover 3D kinematics such as bone and joint positions and rotations, with support for AMTI or Bertec force plates. Streaming options include Unreal Engine, Unity, MotionBuilder, BoB, OSC, VRPN, ROS, and OSVR. APIs support custom real-time streaming pipelines.
