Just after winding the 11i series launch, Xiaomi has now announced that they will be bringing last year’s budget flagship, Xiaomi 11T Pro in the country next week. The phone packs a 6.67’’ FHD+ 120Hz AdaptiveSync AMOLED flat display, with HDR10+ rating, 1000 nits of peak brightness, and Dolby Vision.
The phone comes powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 5G SoC. It is expected to run Android 11 with MIUI 12.5 on top, and get 3 Android OS updates and 4 years of security updates. In terms of optics, both the models pack 108MP wide-angle, 8MP 120° ultra-wide-angle and 5MP 2x telemacro cameras. There is an audio zoom feature, One-click AI cinema modes like Time Freeze, Magic Zoom. Apart from this, there are stereo speakers, Hi-Res audio support and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. There is a 5,000mAh battery juicing the phone with 120W fast charging support and Xiaomi is expected to bundle the charger within the box.
Back when Xiaomi 11T series made global debut, there was a vanilla 11T model with Dimensity 1200 SoC but that phone seems to have been dropped for India. As for the pricing and avaialbility, we expect the phone to be available in three configurations and colors, it could be priced competitively and between the INR 40-50K bracket.
