We know that Xiaomi is launching the Mi 11 Ultra in the Indian market on 23rd April. Now the brand’s senior-most employee Manu Kumar Jain has taken to Twitter to announce the launch of the Mi 11X series as well.
According to the Twitter post that was further elaborated by other Mi India officials, the Mi 11 Ultra won’t be the only product powered by the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC and we will see it on many more Xiaomi devices. As per a new teaser, the new ‘X‘ series of smartphones will offer Xtreme performance, feature Xceptional Display, and Xquisite design.
This new series will include the Mi 11X which as per the recent leaks is the Redmi K40/POCO F3 and the Mi 11X Pro which is the Redmi K40 Pro+ that was announced in China a couple of weeks back. Both these phones have been customized for the Indian market according to the company officials and while they won’t confirm right now which processors they are being powered by. It is safe to say that the Mi 11X will be packing the Snapdragon 870 while the Mi 11X Pro will have the Snapdragon 888.
Apart from this, both of these phones will pack large batteries, 120Hz refresh rate AMOLED displays with very small punch-hole cutouts for selfie cameras, and a triple rear camera setup. At the same launch event, we are expected to see the brand announce these products as well Mi Band 6, Mi Smart projector, Mi Smart Clock, and Mi Watch Lite.
