Xiaomi Smart Band 7 NFC all set for a global launch

Xiaomi Smart Band 7 NFC

Last year in May, Xiaomi launched the Smart Band 7 NFC alongside the regular Band 7 in China. Now, after almost a year, this wearable has been listed on the company’s global website, indicating its release in select international markets soon. The NFC version of the Xiaomi Smart Band 7 offers two extra features, including support for contactless payments compatible with Mastercard and Visa and a microphone for Amazon Alexa integration. This new feature set is in addition to the standard features of the Xiaomi Smart Band 7, including fitness tracking, heart rate monitoring, and sleep tracking.

The Xiaomi Smart Band 7 NFC is equipped with various sensors including a 3-axis accelerometer, a 3-axis gyroscope, a PPG heart rate sensor, and an SPO2 sensor. It offers over 110 fitness modes, heart rate monitoring, sleep tracking, blood oxygen level monitoring, stress tracking, and menstrual cycle monitoring. The device uses Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity to pair with smartphones via the Mi Fitness app that previously was referred to as the Xiaomi Wear. The 5 ATM water-resistant wearable has a battery life of up to two weeks on a single charge. Users can customize the band with a variety of watch faces and choose from different colored straps.
