Xiaomi has a new laptop to offer buyers in India. It is the Xiaomi Notebook Pro 120G and comes across as a powerful device that is aimed at enhancing productivity and media consumption. Not to say, the laptop can also suffice for daily everyday tasks as well.
Xiaomi Notebook Pro 120G specs
The Xiaomi Notebook Pro 120G comes with a 14-inch display having 2.5K resolution. The display offers a 120 Hz refresh rate and a 16:10 aspect ratio. Among the other salient features of the display include 100 percent coverage of the sRGB color gamut as well as a Delta E value that is less than 1.5. Further, there is also DC Dimmign tech on board as well as low blue light emission that has been certified by TÜV Rheinland. This ensures the display is easy on the eyes even during prolonged usage.
At its core, the laptop features a 12th Gen Intel Core i5-12450H processor that works in conjugation with a discrete NVIDIA GeForce MX550 GPU. There is also another variant of the laptop identified as the Xiaomi Notebook Pro 120 that comes with an integrated GPU. There is 16 GB of dual channel LPDDR5 RAM onboard along with 512 GB of PCle Gen4 SSD. Power comes from a 56Whr battery which Xiaomi said will last an entire day comfortably. Further, the battery is backed by 100W fast charging support which ensures the battery acquires 50 percent charge in just 30 mins.
Ports that the laptop comes with include a Type-C thunderbolt v4 port that serves the dual purpose of both charging the laptop and data transfer. Then there is an HDMI port as well as a 3.5mm headphone jack, a Type-C port, and a USB Type-A port. Plus, it supports the Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2 wireless connectivity options too. The laptop runs Windows 11 OS and comes pre-loaded with the MS Office 2021 software suite. The hurricane dual cooling system onboard ensures quick dissipation of heat from the interior of the laptop.

The laptop also boasts of a fingerprint sensor integrated into the power button. Other features include a backlit keyboard and trackpad that supports multi-finger gestures. There is a pair of 2W stereo speakers as well with DTS audio tuning. The laptop also comes with a 720p webcam along with an integrated mic. The laptop boasts of a metal build and tips the scales at a quite convenient 1.4 kilos.
Price and availability
The Xiaomi Notebook Pro 120G is priced at Rs. 74,999 while the Xiaomi Notebook Pro 120 will set one back at Rs. 69,999. Both the laptops are slated to go on sale in the country starting Sept. 20, 12 noon onwards.
