Xiaomi today announced the all-new Mi Portable Bluetooth Speaker (16W) for the Indian market. This was launched under the ‘Mi Sound Unveil’ product launch that Xiaomi scheduled a while back. The new Portable Bluetooth Speaker comes in the rugged outdoor segment.
It has Bluetooth 5.0 support, dual EQ mode, a body covered with mesh that has IPX7 waterproof rating, a physical button panel, lanyard slot, and a microphone to attend calls when connected to a phone. The Voice assistant can also be used on the speaker and just like the Mi Smart Speaker, you can connect two speakers for a true wireless stereo experience.
There is a 2,600mAh battery which gives a 13 hours playback and uses a Type-C port for charging.
