Xiaomi introduces new Mi TV lineup for the Chinese market

At their 10th Anniversary event, Xiaomi announced the new Mi TV lineup. This new lineup gets a Lux series TV with a 77-inch 4K OLED screen with ultra-narrow bezels.

This TV has a 96.2% ultra-high screen-to-body ratio, and packs in a new generation 10-bit OLED panel that has a peak brightness of up to 1,000 nits. Along with this it supports, Dolby Vision, Dolby Vision IQ, HDR10+, HDR10 and HLG, and also has IMAX Enhanced. The TV gets a 70W 9 speaker unit, Dolby Atmos 3.1 surround sound, and the new UWB chip for one-touch connection with compatible devices like the Mi MIX 4.

Xiaomi also introduced cheaper 55-inch and 65-inch Mi TV 6 4K OLED TVs with 60Hz screen, 4.6mm ultra narrow bezels but these TVs lack the enhancements like Dolby Vision IQ, IMAX enhanced, and the UWB chip support that are found on the high-end 77-inch Lux series TV.

Pricing & Availability

The Mi TV Lux 77-inch is priced at 19,999 yuan (INR 2,29,900 approx.), and will go on sale for the first time on August 18th.

The Mi TV 6 55-inch and 65-inch OLED are priced at 5,699 yuan (INR 65,500 approx.) and 7,699 yuan (INR 88,500 approx.), respectively. They also go sale on August 18th.
