The Xiaomi 360º Home Security Camera 1080p 2i has been launched in India. The new smart camera from Xiaomi comes with several advanced features such as AI human motion detection as well as two-way communication in real-time. The new Xiaomi 360º Home Security Camera 1080p 2i succeeds the Xiaomi 360º Home Security Camera 2K Pro that the Chinese manufacturer had introduced in the country in August 2021.

In its latest avatar, the Xiaomi 360º Home Security Camera 1080p 2i allows for more complete surveillance of the home thanks to the 2 MP camera it comes with that is capable of recording videos in 1080p FHD resolution. The camera can scan 360 degrees horizontally and up to 190 degrees in the vertical orientation. Further, the 940nm infrared LEDs that the camera comes integrated with allows for excellent night vision capability. The camera comes with 64 GB of native storage.

Other features of the Xiaomi 360º Home Security Camera 1080p 2i include compatibility with Wi-Fi 2.4GHz as well as week-long motion-triggered videos. The smart security camera also boasts of AI human detection technology that draws from both AI and deep learning techniques to allow for Intelligent motion detection. One of the salient features of the advanced AI technology at work here is that it can differentiate false alarms from a real threat and act accordingly. There is active noise reduction technology at work as well that ensures greater call clarity during two-way voice calling.

Xiaomi said the smart camera can also be remotely operated using the Xiaomi Camera Viewer app installed on any compatible smartphone. The camera is priced quite competitively at Rs. 2,999 and can be bought via Amazon.in, MI.com, as well as other retail outlets in India, both online and offline.
