Fresh details about the battery capacities and charging capabilities of the highly anticipated Xiaomi 14 series have surfaced, courtesy of renowned tipster Digital Chat Station. The Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Pro are expected to make their debut in China this November.

According to the leak, the Xiaomi 14 will be equipped with a robust 4,860mAh battery and will support 90W wired charging. On the other hand, the Xiaomi 14 Pro will boast a larger 5,000mAh battery and offer faster 120W wired charging. Excitingly, both models will also support 50W wireless charging.

In terms of performance, the Xiaomi 14 series will be powered by the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. Qualcomm is expected to unveil this cutting-edge chip in October, fueling speculation that the Xiaomi 14 lineup might hit the market as early as November in China. Notably, a previous leak from Digital Chat Station revealed that the Xiaomi 14 series will retain the highly regarded 1-inch camera sensor, while the development of the 1.33-inch sensor is still underway.

Meanwhile, the leaked specifications indicate a significant upgrade in the battery and charging departments compared to their predecessors. The Xiaomi 13, for instance, featured a smaller 4,500mAh battery with 67W fast charging. Additionally, recent reports suggest that both the Xiaomi 14 and 14 Pro will sport a USB-C port with USB 3.2 standard support.

In addition to the Xiaomi 14 and 14 Pro, the series is set to include the Xiaomi 14 Ultra. However, industry insiders anticipate that the Xiaomi 14 Ultra will be officially announced in the first quarter of 2024 in China.
