After weeks of teasing, the Xiaomi 13 Ultra has been released as the latest top-of-the-line smartphone from Xiaomi, following the success of the Xiaomi 11 Ultra and last year’s Xiaomi 12S Ultra. The handset has been launched in both China and global markets. The phone is equipped with powerful hardware, including the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, a 1-inch Sony IMX989 sensor with variable aperture, a large VC liquid cooling area, and Dolby Vision support for an immersive visual experience. Additionally, it has an IP68 rating for protection against water and dust. The device boasts a leather finish that is made from anti-degradation material and is claimed to be resistant to wear, dirt, and UV rays.

Xiaomi 13 Ultra specifications

The Xiaomi 13 Ultra packs a 6.73-inch curved OLED panel with a Quad HD resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate which can go down to 10Hz. The handset is powered by the flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen SoC and has a maximum of 16GB RAM and 1TB storage. The phone runs on the Android 13 operating system and comes with the MIUI 14 custom skin pre-installed.

The handset has a quad-camera setup on the back, which includes a 50MP 1-inch Sony IMX989 sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide angle lens, a 50MP 3.2X telephoto sensor, and a 50MP periscope zoom that supports both 5X and 10X zoom. For selfies, the phone comes with a 32MP front-facing camera. The Xiaomi 13 Ultra is juiced by a 5,000mAh battery that supports 90W fast wired charging, while wireless charging can go up to 50W.

Xiaomi 13 Ultra Price

The Xiaomi 13 Ultra can be bought in Black, White, and Olive Green colors. It is offered in three different memory configurations with corresponding prices: 12GB + 256GB for 5,999 yuan (INR 71,600 approx.), 16GB+512GB for 6499 yuan (INR 77,600 approx.), and 16GB+ 1TB for 7,299 yuan (INR 87,100 approx.). The device is available for preorder and will be up for purchase in China from April 21st. Xiaomi has also confirmed that the phone will be launched in multiple countries worldwide in the coming months.
