The countdown has begun for the Xiaomi 13 Ultra launch as the official date has finally been confirmed. It is going to be on April 18 at 7 PM (GMT+8) that Xiaomi will hold a global launch event for the much-awaited device. Fans and tech enthusiasts alike are eagerly waiting for this event to witness the launch of the latest and greatest smartphone to come from Xiaomi.
Digital Chat Station, a reliable tipster, has shared that the Xiaomi 13 Ultra will be equipped with a Vario-Summicron 1-inch main camera with a variable aperture. The device’s four cameras will have an aperture range that spans from f/1.8 to f/3.0 and will cover focal lengths ranging from 12mm to 120mm. This device will have a periscope zoom camera, which will enable 5x optical zoom.
Meanwhile, leaked CAD renders of the upcoming Xiaomi 13 Ultra have surfaced, showcasing a quad-camera setup on the rear. According to reports, the primary camera will be a 50 MP Sony IMX989 sensor, accompanied by three 50 MP Sony IMX858 cameras for ultra-wide, telephoto, and periscope zoom capabilities. On the front, the device is expected to have a 32 MP camera. These features indicate that the Xiaomi 13 Ultra is poised to offer advanced photography capabilities.
It’s been reported that the Xiaomi 13 Ultra will not be available in certain countries, such as India, Indonesia, and Turkey, due to the lack of Xiaomi 13 Ultra MIUI firmware builds for these regions. However, it is expected to be released in regions such as Global, EEA, Russia, and Taiwan. Additionally, the device may also be available in Japan despite the unavailability of a Japan-specific MIUI build.
Along with the Xiaomi 13 Ultra, the company is also expected to unveil some other products, although there has been no official confirmation on that yet. Rumors suggest that the Xiaomi Pad 6 series of tablets may also make an appearance on the same date.
