The latest smartphone in the Redmi India arsenal to get the MIUI 12.5 update is the Note 10. The phone launched a few months back with MIUI 12 in the country.
Over the past few weeks, Xiaomi devs have been busy pushing out the MIUI 12.5 update to many eligible devices due to the bugs within MIUI 12. The phone is currently on Android 11 build and is slated to get the Android 12 sometime early next year. This new build MIUI V12.5.1.0.RKGINXM to precise is being reported to be stable by the early adopters.
The first wave of users have already got the updated and the update should be gradually rolling out to users over the course of next few weeks. Just for a refresher, the phone packs a 6.43-inch Full HD+ AMOLED panel, the first in a Redmi smartphone. This is a 60Hz panel and gets pretty bright with a peak brightness of 1100 nits.
As for the internals, the phone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 678 processor and comes in various RAM & storage options. There is a quad camera setup on the back with a main 48MP sensor, 8MP ultra-wide lens and two 2MP sensor for depth information. As for the battery the Note 10 gets a large 5,000mAh cell with support for up to 30W fast charging.
