It’s just been 2 months since Redmi announced the Redmi Note 10 series in India. Xiaomi today announced that the brand was able to sell 2 million units of the Redmi Note 10, Note 10 and Note 10 Pro Max collectively.
These 2 million units translates to INR 3000 crore of business for the brand that too amidst this pandemic. The company did not provide the break-down of sales for each phone but they managed to achieve this record sale figure in under 3 months. Since the launch the Redmi Note 10 series has been quite popular in the country and due recent changes in the Dollar prices and Pandemic hit economic, the series has seem some price refresh as well.
Regarding this, Sneha Tainwala, Business Head, Redmi India, said, “Since the launch of the first Redmi Note in the country, Note series have set some really high standards in the category with our devices becoming the de-facto choice in the mid-premium price segment. We are overwhelmed and grateful to our Mi fans for this huge response and support we have got from our Mi family, fans and consumers. With this quantum leap, the 3000+ crore is an achievement that testifies our commitment as well as customer satisfaction with the brand.
