After hiking the price for the Redmi Note 10 Pro, Redmi has now hiked the price for vanilla Note 10 model as well. These price hikes are primarily being done on the base models of these smartphones.
Redmi Note 10 4GB RAM model which had launched in India a couple of months back for INR 11,999 got a price hike a few weeks back that placed the phone at INR 12,499 and now an INR 500 price hike puts the base model at INR 12,999. Since the launch the base model has seen a jump of INR 1,000 which is considered quite a lot in this price sensitive segment.

Just to recall, the Redmi Note 10 packs a 6.43-inch Full HD+ AMOLED panel with a company claimed peak brightness of 1100 nits. Under the hood, the phone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 678 processor which is a relatively newer chip in the Snapdragon 600 series. Note 10 comes in a variety of variants with up to 6GB LPDDR4X RAM and up to 128GB of UFS2.2 storage. It runs on the latest Android 11 build with MIUI 12 on top.
There is a quad-camera setup on the back with a 48MP main sensor and 13MP selfie shooter tucked away in the center punch-hole. There is a pair of stereo speakers with HiRes audio support, a relatively large 5,000mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging, and a glass sandwich design.
