Redmi is reportedly gearing up for the launch of its highly anticipated flagship smartphone, the Redmi K60 Ultra. The phone is expected to hit the market sometime between July and August this year. Serving as the successor to the Redmi K50 Ultra, the upcoming device has been generating buzz in the tech community. Digital Chat Station, a well-known tipster, recently shared a schematic of the K60 Ultra, giving us a glimpse of its design. Now, an image based on the leaked schematic has surfaced on the Chinese social media platform Weibo, providing a render of the device.

The render showcases the Redmi K60 Ultra with a punch-hole display, although the ultra-thin bezels are not clearly visible. According to leaks, the smartphone is rumored to feature a TCL-manufactured C7 display, boasting a 1.5K resolution and an impressive 144Hz refresh rate. This display is also found on the Xiaomi 13 Ultra. Additionally, the device seems to sport an under-display fingerprint sensor for convenient unlocking.

On the rear side, the K60 Ultra presents a square-shaped camera module housing three cameras accompanied by an LED flash. The primary camera is speculated to be a 50-megapixel snapper, likely featuring a 1/1.5-inch sensor for improved photography capabilities.

Powering the Redmi K60 Ultra is expected to be the Dimensity 9200 Plus chip. Currently, the iQOO Neo 7 Pro and the Vivo X90s are the only other smartphones equipped with the same chip. The inclusion of the D9200+ chip suggests that the K60 Ultra will offer LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 4.0 storage, delivering impressive performance.

Recently, a device believed to be the K60 Ultra with model number 23078RKD5C received approval from China’s 3C authority. The certification listing unveiled potential details, indicating that the smartphone might come bundled with a 120W fast charger. Speculations about its battery capacity suggest a range between 5,500mAh to 5,000mAh, with possible support for 30W wireless charging. It’s worth noting that a slightly modified or rebranded version of the K60 Ultra is expected to make its way into the global market under the name Xiaomi 13T Pro.

With the Redmi K60 Ultra, Redmi aims to deliver a flagship smartphone packed with top-of-the-line features and specifications, solidifying its position in the competitive smartphone market. As the launch date approaches, tech enthusiasts eagerly await more official information and announcements from the company.
