Redmi Buds 4 Active TWS earbuds launched in India

Redmi Buds 4 Active

Xiaomi has unveiled the highly anticipated Xiaomi Pad 6 tablet in India. Accompanying the high-end tablet is the Redmi Buds 4 Active TWS earbuds. The Redmi Buds 4 Active earbuds come equipped with impressive 12mm drivers, providing an upgraded audio experience compared to their predecessor, the Redmi Buds 4, which featured 10mm drivers. It’s worth noting, however, that, unlike the standard version, the Buds 4 Active does not include active noise cancellation technology.

While the standard Buds 4 offers active noise cancellation, normal mode, and transparent mode for ambient sound, the Buds 4 Active focuses on environmental noise cancellation. Additionally, the Redmi Buds 4 Active boasts an IPX4 water resistance certification, providing protection against splashes, while the Buds 4 holds an IPX5 rating for dust and water resistance.

In terms of design, the Redmi Buds 4 Active features larger earbuds and a more rounded charging case compared to its predecessor. The earbuds offer an impressive total operation time of up to 30 hours when used with the charging case, with approximately 5 hours of playback on a single charge for the earbuds alone.

Moreover, the Redmi Buds 4 Active supports rapid charging, enabling users to enjoy up to 90 minutes of listening time with just 10 minutes of charging. With Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity and Google Fast Pair support, these earbuds ensure seamless wireless connectivity. They also feature touch controls, allowing users to manage music playback, answer or decline calls, and activate low latency mode, among other functions.

Weighing a total of 42g, including the charging case, the Redmi Buds 4 Active houses a 440mAh battery capacity within the case. It is available in two appealing color options: Bass Black and Air White.

As for pricing and availability, the Redmi Buds 4 Active is priced at Rs 1,399 in India. However, for a limited time period, Xiaomi is offering an introductory price of Rs 1,199. These earbuds will be available for purchase starting June 20 on mi.com, Amazon.in, and Xiaomi retail stores.
