Redmi A2 series with 2 GB RAM & 64 GB storage option launched in India

Recently, Redmi launched the A2 series smartphones in India, and now the brand has introduced new variants of both the A2 and A2+ devices with 2 GB RAM and 64 GB storage. These models are now available for purchase on Amazon India, priced at Rs 6,799 and Rs 8,499 respectively. Let’s take a look at the specifications and features of these devices.

Redmi A2 Specifications:

The Redmi A2 smartphone features a 6.52-inch HD+ IPS LCD display with a resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels and a 60 Hz refresh rate. It is equipped with an 8 MP dual rear camera setup that can record 1080p videos at 30fps. For selfies, there is a 5 MP wide camera lens on the front, which also supports 1080p video recording at 30fps.

Running on Android 13, the Redmi A2 is powered by a MediaTek Helio G36 Octa-core processor. The new variant comes with 2 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage. The device is backed by a 5000mAh battery, providing up to 32 hours of talk time. It supports 10W wired charging.

Redmi A2+ Specifications:

The Redmi A2+ boasts a 6.52-inch HD+ IPS LCD display with a resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels, a 120 Hz touch sampling rate, and a peak brightness of 400nits. It features a dual 8 MP rear camera setup with portrait mode, while the front houses a 5 MP selfie camera.

Similar to the Redmi A2, this model also runs on Android 13 and is powered by a MediaTek Helio G36 Octa-core processor. It comes with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage, expandable up to 1 TB using a dedicated MicroSD card slot. The device supports dual SIM cards. It is equipped with a 5000mAh battery and comes with a 10W charger included in the box.

Both the Redmi A2 and A2+ offer affordable options with decent specifications and features, providing users with a range of choices to suit their needs.
