Redmi confirmed the launch of new Smart TVs that are set to expand the Redmi TV lineup in the country. These will come in 32-inch and 43-inch models and come with the latest software and hardware.
From what we gathered from our sources, the 43-inch model will come with a Full HD panel, while the smaller 32-inch model will get a HD panel. Furthermore, the teaser page for this launch confirms that these TVs will be powered by Android TV 11 with PatchWall 4 on top. As for the audio will come with support for both Dolby Audio and DTS Virtual:X with a 20W speaker setup.
Other highlights include Xiaomi’s in-house Vivid Picture Engine, 1GB RAM & 8GB internal storage, Quad-core CPU with Mali GPU, HDMI 2.1 support with eARC, Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM), dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0 and more. In addition, these new models will borrow other proprietary features like Quick Wake from the other Redmi TVs.
As for the pricing, expect these models to be priced between INR 15,000 to INR 28,000 given the inflated TV prices due to ongoing chip shortage.
