Its festive season approaching in India and Flipkart is out to cash in on the occasion with its annual Big Billion Days mega sales event. The retailer in partnership with the manufacturers doles out heavy discounts on almost all products across the board. Take for instance the Poco F4 5G which the retailer has confirmed will sell for Rs. 21,999 during Big Billion Day sales. That makes for a substantial discount considering that the phone sells for Rs. 27,999 on other days.
The Poco F4 5G first went on sale in India in June and comes in three versions – the base model with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage that is priced at Rs 27,999. Next comes the intermediary model with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage that is priced at Rs 29,999. Lastly, there is the model with 8 GB of memory and 256 GB of storage priced at Rs 33,999.
However, what is known at the moment is that it is only the base Poco F4 model that would be receiving the price cut and will sell for Rs. 21,999. It isn’t clear as of now if the other two models too will be available at a discounted price during the BBD sales.
The rest of the specs of the Poco F4 5G include a Snapdragon 870 chipset making up the core while on the top lies a 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED panel having a 120 Hz refresh rate. The smartphone features LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage to allow for the most optimum performance. Providing the juice is a 4,500 mAh battery that is backed by 67W fast charging tech. The phone runs MIUI 13 which is based on Android 12. The phone features a 20 MP front shooter along with a triple lens rear camera system comprising of a 64 MP primary cam, an 8 MP ultra wide angle lens, and a 2 MP macro lens.
Meanwhile, other Poco phones that too will be getting discounted during the upcoming Flipkart BBD sales include the POCO X4 Pro, M4 Pro, M5, and M4 5G. The retailer has also revealed what the phone will sell for during the sales event. Take for instance the POCO X4 Pro that is slated to sell for Rs 13,999 post a discount of Rs. 5000.
Similarly, the POCO M4 Pro will start at Rs. 11,499 after a discount of Rs. 3,500. The POCO M5 will be getting a discount of Rs. 1,500 and is slated to sell for Rs. 12,499. The POCO M4 5G will go on sale for Rs. 9,747 during BBD, down from its original price of Rs. 12,499.
