Poco has had a good last year and the company announced a bunch of devices in the Indian market at various price points. Two smartphones on the list the Poco M2 & Poco C3 are now receiving their first round of price cuts in the market.
Just to recall, the Poco M2 comes powered by the MediaTek Helio G80 processor with a massive 5,000mAh battery. It also featured a quad-rear camera setup in the sub INR 11,000 price point and at the same time became the first phone in that category to offer up to 6GB RAM. he base 6GB + 64GB was introduced at INR 10,999, whereas the higher 6GB + 128GB version had been selling for INR 12,499.
Right now the customers can pick up the phone starting INR 9,999 and INR 10,999 respectively. There has been a price cut of INR 1000 on the base variant and INR 1,500 on the top variant.
Moving to the Poco C3, this is the cheapest smartphone to come out of Poco. It is powered by MediaTek’s Helio G35 processor with up to 4GB RAM and packs a decent 6.53″ display with a triple camera setup on the back. The company has stuck with the massive 5,000mAh battery here as well. The phone was launched for INR 7,500 for the 3GB + 32GB variant and INR 8,999 for the 4GB + 64GB variant.
Unlike the Poco M2 which got a price cut on both the variants, we are seeing a price cut with Poco C3 on just the top-end variant that too of just INR 500 taking down the effective price of 4GB + 64GB variant to INR 8,499.
The new prices are coming in effect right now with both the models listed on Flipkart.com.
