As India is going through the deadly second wave of COVID-19, POCO has come forward to provide extra two months of warranty for its phones with warranties expiring this May or June.

Since most of India is under strict lockdown for at least two more weeks, this two-month extension on warranties will come in handy for quite a lot of POCO users. This was communicated by POCO India through their social media channels. The company also confirmed that it will not launch any new products in the country this May 2021. The statement issued by the senior leadership reads that, the brand is will be pausing the launch of new products that were on the cards for this month.

There is still no mention of the products that were scheduled for launch soon and when will be the new dates announced. But from the looks of it, we could see the new POCO M3 Pro 5G sometime soon as it is going to launch globally next week. This news comes at a time when many more brand has postponed their launches after looking at the current situation and the slowdown in the market.

We should see these consumer electronic product launches resume soon as the COVID pandemic sees a decline in cases all across India.
