The Poco India team today posted a letter aimed towards their fans. The letter is accompanied by the hashtag #PROformance and the words ‘only POCO can beat a POCO’. This and other text mentioned in the post points towards the POCO X3 Pro.

We have been hearing rumors of a new POCO phone for the Indian market that will be offered on the lines of the OG POCO F1. The phone is slated to launch by the end of this month, probably on the 30th. If the leaked stories are to be believed, this new POCO phone will sport a 6.67-inch FHD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, we will see a new Qualcomm Snapdragon 860 4G chip that has still not been launched.

Given the fact that we saw Qualcomm announce the Snapdragon 732G just days ahead of the POCO X3 launch, gives us a fair bit of idea of what to expect of this new chipset. The Snapdragon 860 is slated to be based on the Snapdragon 855+ platform with minor improvements and the lack of a built-in 5G modem.

Other specs include a 5,020mAh battery, 33W fast charging, a quad-camera setup on the rear, and a 16MP selfie shooter on the front. The fact that the POCO team has referenced the INR 21K starting price of the POCO F1. We think that they probably will announce the base variant of the phone closer to it.
