POCO C50 has been launched in India as the latest budget offering from the brand. From the specsheet, it is evident that this product is a rebranded Redmi A1+ that was launched a couple of months back. The phone houses a square module to house dual camera sensors, an LED flash, and a leather-like finish on the back panel. It gets a reasonably LCD panel with a dew-drop notch and is powered by a budget MediaTek SoC.
POCO C50 Specifications
The POCO C50 sports a 6.52-inch HD+ display with a waterdrop notch, a 60Hz refresh rate, and a 120Hz touch sampling rate. The handset is powered by the MediaTek Helio A22 12nm processor with up to 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage that can be further expanded via a microSD card. Like the Redmi A1+, the POCO C50 gets a leather-like textured finish on the rear and comes in two color options.
In terms of the optics, the C50 gets a dual camera setup on the rear with an 8MP primary camera along with a 2MP auxiliary sensor. The selfies on the handset are taken through a 5MP sensor which is tucked away in the dew-drop notch. Other specifications on the POCO C50 include a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, 4G, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, a 5,000mAh battery with support for 10W fast charging, and ships with Android 12 Go Edition out of the box.

The POCO C50 is available in Country Green and Royal Blue color options and the phone starts at INR 6,499 for the 2GB + 32GB model and INR 7,299 for the 3GB + 32GB model. As part of the launch offer, buyers receive an INR 250 voucher, making it available from Flipkart beginning on January 10 for as little as INR 6249.
