POCO C31 smartphone launching in India on September 30

Poco just announced the launch of the C31 budget smartphone in India on September 30th. From the teaser image posted on the company’s social media accounts, we can make out the smartphone’s front.

There is a water-drop screen, and the company has confirmed 4GB of RAM and Helio G35 SoC. From the specs that have been made public, it is safe to say that this new Poco C31 could be another rebranded product. We expect the phone to pack a 6.53-inch HD+ display and a rather large 6,000mAh battery.

The brand has been stressing the battery and how the phone will offer a 25% longer lifespan and come with hundreds of battery optimizations. As per Poco, the battery will have the ability to get 1000 charge cycles and will remain as good as new even after 2.5 years of daily usage.

The smartphone will be sold exclusively via Flipkart, and there is already a teaser page live on the platform. There is still no word on the pricing and availability, but we suspect the phone to be priced under INR 10,000 and be on sale during the Flipkart Big Billion Day sale early next month.
