To make an AI song cover, choose a cover generator, provide a song or vocal track if the service supports your input, select a voice, adjust the available controls, generate a preview, and listen for timing and vocal problems before downloading. On a Xiaomi, Redmi, or POCO phone, a web-based option such as FineShare Singify can be opened in your browser; its listing says it is web-only. Keep the first attempt short and simple, and use only audio and voice material you have permission to use.
What Makes A Song Cover Different From Ordinary AI Music
A cover keeps the identity of an existing song: its melody, rhythm, and instrumental arrangement remain the reference while the vocal sound changes. That makes the source recording and vocal fit important. A voice that sounds convincing on a short phrase may struggle with a high note, a fast lyric, or a long held vowel. The result also depends on how the original vocal sits against the instruments.

Treat any text field as an instruction only if the service clearly identifies it that way. Do not assume a genre, language, vocal range, or prompt syntax is supported unless the vendor specifies it.
Prepare The Track On Your Xiaomi Phone
- Pick a song file you are allowed to use. If the generator accepts a video or online-video link, that does not itself establish that you have permission to make or share a cover from it.
- Decide what you want to change: the lead vocal, the voice character, or possibly the arrangement. A cover generator focused on voice replacement may not provide arrangement controls.
- Use a short section for your first try when the service allows it. Choose a passage with a clear lead vocal and a little variety, such as a line followed by a sustained note. This makes timing and pronunciation easier to judge.

- Open Singify and choose its AI cover workflow. Select an audio file that meets the stated upload limits.
- Choose one voice for the first version. A solo cover makes it easier to hear whether the melody and vocal fit work before trying duet or chorus mode.
- Set pitch or key only if you have a clear reason to change it. For a first pass, leave the original song’s musical center intact; changing pitch can make a vocal fit better or worse depending on the song.
- Generate the cover and listen to the preview if offered. Check the start of the vocal, consonants on quick lyrics, sustained notes, and the transition back into the instrumental.
- If one passage sounds wrong, try a different voice or adjust an available control, then regenerate. Change one thing at a time so you can tell which choice helped.
- Download as MP3 or FLAC if those formats meet your needs. Keep the original file as a comparison, and listen to the downloaded version rather than judging only from a preview.
Try A More Specific Voice Brief
A cover tool may offer voice selection rather than a prompt box. If it does provide a text description, keep the instruction tied to audible performance choices instead of naming a real singer. For example: “Clear solo lead, gentle delivery in the verse, stronger sustained notes in the chorus.” This is a sample brief, not a verified prompt format or a promise that the service supports those controls. If there is no prompt field, use the closest available voice and performance settings.
For a duet, select duet mode only after the solo version is working. If the service offers no way to assign parts or control who sings each line, do not assume it will split the lyrics as you intend. Likewise, a chorus mode does not establish that you can set harmony intervals or the number of voices.

- Listen with headphones and at phone-speaker volume. A vocal that blends in headphones may be hard to hear on a small speaker.
- Check whether the new vocal follows the original melody and rhythm, especially at line endings and long notes.
- Listen for words that are clipped, blurred, or out of time. Try another voice or source passage if those problems persist.
- Compare the preview with the downloaded file and confirm that the format suits where you plan to share it.
- Read the generator’s current terms for voice samples, covers, downloads, and commercial use. Get consent before using another person’s voice or a cloned voice, and follow the platform’s terms for both the source song and the generated cover.
