As of the information checked on 26 September 2026, Udio disables audio, video and stem downloads during its transition period. If you made a song in Udio, you can work on it there, but the supplied platform information does not establish a way to save an audio file to your Xiaomi, Redmi or POCO phone right now. Paying for a plan raises the monthly credit limit; it does not establish that downloads are enabled or grant commercial rights.
What You Can And Cannot Download From Udio
Udio can generate vocal or instrumental songs from text prompts and lyrics, edit lyrics, blend voice references, shape styles, extend or transform audio, and refine it in Sessions. Stem separation is available as a feature, but stem export is currently disabled. The available information does not give a date when the transition period will end, nor a supported phone download workflow. Check Udio’s own current terms and help pages before acting on any older tutorial or download button shown in a guide.

This distinction matters on an Android phone: a song appearing in your Udio account or playing in a browser is not the same as an MP3 or WAV saved to local storage. The available information does not establish a Udio Android app or a particular browser save option. Do not assume that “share,” “export,” or a stem-separation control means you can download a file.
Check Your Rights Before You Share Or Monetize A Song
The supplied Udio plan details establish free and paid credit limits, but do not establish a license for commercial use, ownership terms, or permission to distribute generated tracks. A subscription or a large credit balance should not be treated as proof that you can monetize, publish, or reuse a song. Check the current Udio terms for the specific use you have in mind, including social posts, streaming releases, client work, and advertising. If those terms do not clearly answer your case, ask Udio before relying on the track.

Get consent before using a recognizable person’s voice as a reference or making a song that imitates them. Udio’s listed voice-reference feature does not itself establish that you have the right to use a voice. Check Udio’s terms for voice references and generated vocals, and get permission from the person whose voice you intend to use.

An applicant registering a work with more than a minimal amount of AI-generated material must disclose it and describe the human author’s contribution. This is a U.S. copyright rule, not a statement of Udio’s platform license. Read the U.S. Copyright Office’s AI report information.

Step-By-Step: Check Whether You Can Save Your Udio Song
- Open the original Udio creation. Sign in through Udio’s website and locate the song in the account where you made it. The supplied information lists Udio as web-based; it does not establish a dedicated Android app.
- Check the current song controls. Look for an audio download option on the song itself. During the stated transition period, audio downloads are disabled. If no download control is available, do not treat browser playback, a share link, or a stem-separation control as a downloadable file.
- Check Udio’s current notice and terms. Confirm whether the transition restriction still applies and whether Udio has announced a supported download method. The supplied facts do not specify an end date or a workaround, so do not rely on old instructions that promise one.
- Decide whether your use is allowed separately from whether downloading works. Read the current terms for your intended use and plan. The supplied plan information does not establish commercial rights, even for paid subscribers.
- When Udio enables an official download, use that control. Choose the format Udio actually offers and save it to a folder you can find on your phone. The available information does not establish supported formats or a phone-specific save path, so follow the live instructions shown by Udio and verify the file appears in your device’s file manager.
How Udio Plans Relate To Downloads
The figures below describe monthly credits, not downloadable song counts or rights. The available Udio facts say downloads are disabled during the transition period; they do not state that buying more credits removes that restriction.
| Udio Plan | Price And Billing | Credit Limit | Download Status In Supplied Information |
|---|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | 10 daily credits and 100 monthly credits | Audio, video and stem downloads disabled during transition |
| Standard | $10 per month, billed monthly | 2,400 credits per month | Audio, video and stem downloads disabled during transition |
The supplied information says paid plans are needed for higher monthly credit limits. It does not provide the full paid-plan terms, a download allowance, or a commercial-use license. Check Udio’s current plan page and terms before paying for a particular outcome.

Prepare A Song Brief While You Wait
If you are creating a song to download later, keep the musical brief focused on details you control through prompts: for example, “instrumental track with a slow pulse, warm bass, restrained percussion, and a gradual lift in the final section.” If you need vocals, specify the mood, lyrical idea, and broad vocal character without naming or cloning a real person unless you have their consent. Udio’s listed prompt, lyric, style, voice-reference, extension, transformation, and Sessions features support shaping a creation, but they do not establish a particular genre capability or guarantee an export format.
Before putting time into a release workflow, check that the desired genre, language, file format, and intended publishing use are supported under Udio’s current product and terms. Those specifics are not established in the information here. Keep your own lyrics and notes so you can identify your human contribution; this is useful context, but it does not turn an AI-generated recording into a copyrightable work by itself.

When A Download Button Returns
- Confirm Udio has ended or changed the transition restriction in its current notice.
- Read the terms that apply to the account and plan that created the track, especially for commercial use, voice references, covers, and distribution.
- Use the platform’s own download control and check the resulting file on your Xiaomi, Redmi or POCO phone before deleting or abandoning the online version.
- Keep a record of your lyrics, edits, and other human-authored material if you may later need to describe your contribution.
