Black Shark just updated their smartphone lineup for 2021 with the launch of the Black Shark 4 and 4 Pro. Black Shark 4 series feature a 6.67-inch FHD+ display E4 AMOLED panel with 144Hz refresh rate and multi-finger touch sampling rate of 720Hz.
This is one of the highest in the industry and the brand isn’t just done yet. The phone has the new X antenna intelligent switching system which switches between different networks and even mobile data to provide a seamless experience. The Black Shark 4 is powered by Snapdragon 870 while the 4 Pro is powered by the Snapdragon 888.
The Pro variant gets up to up to 16GB LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB of UFS3.1 storage while the vanilla variant gets up to 12GB of RAM. The 4Pro also gets the faster-customized SSD storage which the company says is a combination of two disk array systems that increases read and write performance by 55% and 69%, respectively. There is a liquid cooling system like the earlier generations and some of the accessories make a comeback.
Both the phones pack a 4500mAh battery with support for 120W fast charging that can charge up to 50% in 5 minutes and 100% in 15 minutes.

Black Shark 4 6GB/128GB is priced at 2499 yuan (INR 27,900 approx.), 8GB/128GB is priced at 2699 yuan (INR 30,000 approx.), 12GB/128GB goes for 2999 yuan (INR 33,500 approx.) and 12GB/256GB is priced at 3299 yuan (INR 36,900 approx.)
The Black Shark 4 Pro 8GB/128GB is priced at 3999 yuan (INR 44,500 approx.), 12GB/256GB is priced at 4499 yuan (INR 49,900 approx.) and 16GB/512GB goes for 5299 yuan (INR 58,900 approx.). All of these models go on sale starting March 26 in China.
