What Zeal Onboard is

Zeal Onboard automates onboarding for 1099 and W-2 workers, covering documents, tax forms, e-signatures, certifications, and remote I-9 with E-Verify. Employers can configure data collection and send workers into a flow by link. The remote I-9 process supports reviews, mobile image capture, location sharing, and E-Verify confirmation. Customers can upload documents, add custom data fields, and set rules for which workers receive each document. They can also reuse flows to collect later changes, such as updated tax withholding, licenses, certifications, and other paperwork. Onboarding can be white-labeled or customized through the API, then launched as an embedded flow or link. Zeal lists integrations for ATS, timekeeping, benefits, registrations, background screening, and tax registration; its API can also connect internal systems and other tools. Workers can complete onboarding in desktop or mobile browsers, or in a white-labeled mobile app if enabled. Zeal says it maintains SOC 2 certification for data security, availability, and confidentiality.
