Monitoring runs from locations across six continents; the site says outage detection is under three seconds and that multi-region consensus checking helps reduce false positives.
The free Basic plan includes one public or private status page, five service monitors, 14-day data retention, and a 30-second minimum check interval. Starter and Pro also list protected pages. Email alerts are available; Slack, Discord, webhooks, PagerDuty, OpsGenie, and Teams alerts are marked as coming soon. Monthly plans include Starter at $9 a month and Pro at $29 a month. The site lists SSL certificate and domain expiry checks as included. UpCanary is headquartered in Switzerland. Its privacy policy describes encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and regular security reviews; tracking and advertising cookies are not used.
