What Tribal SITS is

Tribal SITS is a student management system for universities, covering admissions, registry, learner finance, and data reporting across the student lifecycle. It connects processes from a student’s first application through graduation and beyond. Recruitment features include an online admissions portal, campaign and communications management, applicant ranking, and web-based clearing. Retention tools track engagement and absences and manage extenuating circumstances, appeals, and complaints. Students can use the e:Vision portal for self-service, view progress with Award Predictor, and provide feedback through Survey Manager. Finance functions cover accounts, fee payments, debt management, bursaries, scholarships, discounts, and awards. SITS also supports progression, pathway mapping, learning outcome mapping, and flexible grading including grade point averages. Tribal says it is compatible with Microsoft and Oracle and offers more than 30 finance integrations. Institutions can host it themselves or use Tribal hosting. The system supports compliant returns and scales from 500 to over 200,000 FTE.
