TRAX LRS
TRAX LRS is an xAPI-compliant Learning Record Store for storing and managing learning data.
What TRAX LRS is
TRAX LRS is an xAPI-compliant Learning Record Store for storing and managing learning data. Users can explore statements and related records, including activities, agents, people, groups, profiles, and states. Scheduled jobs can validate statements, pseudonymize data, and clean up records; administrators can also remove an actor’s xAPI data or pseudonymize statements across a store. The free Starter Edition uses a GPL3 open-source license and includes one admin user, one xAPI endpoint, MySQL or PostgreSQL, and statement exploration. Data can be exported through the API. TRAX LRS supports cmi5 and lists a Moodle plugin, connections to other xAPI-compliant LRSs, and secondary database connectors. It can run as a monolithic web application or as microservices, while custom services can listen for events through Redis Streams. Installation documentation describes deployment on an Apache web server with PHP and a configured database. The Extended Edition adds multiple stores, user roles, store-level access, and configurable API client permissions, but requires a license agreement with the author and cannot be distributed to a third party.
